You will require a third party VNC server for your PC. On the Mac versions of OSXvnc are compatible and for Linux you need acompatible version of RealVNC or TightVNC (or best of all UltraVNC if there is a Linux version).

The cab file for installation of PTvncWM5 on your PPC is included in the download for those of you who do NOT have a Windows PC.

Version 1.2 updates:

Some issues with respect to orientation changes have been fixed - specifically relating to 240*320/320*240 devices and devices with pull-out QWERTY keyboards.

Updates in version 1.1 were:

The option to use the stylus directly as the server left mouse button. Choosing this option when defining or redefining the buttons means that to scroll the display you will need to use the joypad directions.

The ability to rotate the view to any 90 degree orientation. This means that if you have a portrait mode device with a QWERTY keyboard under the display then you can choose to view in portrait mode i.e. in the correct orientation with respect to your QWERTY keyboard. Of course you could choose to view in portrait mode on any device if you so wish. You can set the rotation prior to connection from the Hostname Entry screen by tapping "F1" on the graphical keyboard.

The help file can now be viewed from within PTvncWM5 from either the Hostname Entry screen or the Password Entry screen. Use the stylus at the top or bottom of your screen to scroll the help text.
